The versatile design is used for splicing optical fibers with buffer coating diameters of 250μm and 900μm, providing high performance connections of multi-mode and single mode fibers.

Mechanical splicers is widely used in ftth network for drop cable application, and also suitable for connecting pigtails in distribution boxes,splice closures, wall outlets for repair damaged optical cables.
